We are, in a generalised way, very disconnected from our food-its origins, transformation and preparation. Much of this is intentional of course, industries profit from seeing that people consider cooking an unnecessary task that they do not have time for. This is a series of photographs taken at home, reinforcing ideas of authenticity and presence that are equally deliberate.
